BURNT SHELL REMAINS EAGLE MILLS GENERAL STORE OWNER HOT OVER INSURANCE.(CAPITAL REGION)

Richard Wallen is burned up about his fire insurance troubles.

Wallen's insurance company canceled his coverage because he hasn't cleaned up the remains of his Eagle Mills General Store, which burned Sept. 20.

Wallen says he can't yet afford to pay for those costs because his insurance company has not paid the $100,000 claim for the loss of the building.

As a result, Wallen became solely responsible Monday for any injuries or damages that occur if the burned shell of the Eagle Mills General Store comes tumbling down.
