H&R Block Inc. said Monday that it had decided to find a replacement for KPMG LLP as its auditor, citing the role of the dissident shareholder Richard C. Breeden as KPMG's government-appointed monitor.
Mr. Breeden and two colleagues were elected to H&R Block's board at its annual meeting this month.
